7th pay commission order issued Goa government


Panaji: The Goa government on Wednesday issued an order for the implementation of the 7th Pay Commission recommendations for its 55,000-plus employees. The cabinet had last week approved the proposal for the implementation of the new pay scales, which will also be applicable to 45,000 pensioners. As per the notification issued by state finance secretary, Daulat Hawaldar, the revised pay scale would be implemented for all government employees and employees of government-aided education institutions with effect from January 1.
